- Must have passed graduation examination from a university established by law and recognized by UGC with minimum 50% marks with Home Science as main subject. Reserved categories will get 5% relaxation in minimum marks as per rules. Or
- Diploma in Nursery Teacher Education/NTT/CT(Nursery)/DPSE of minimum two years duration or equivalent qualification, which is recognized by National Council of Teacher Education.

UP ECCE Educator Vacancy 2025 Functions and responsibilities of ECCE Educators–
- Preparing children in the age group of 3 to 6 years for formal education.
- Creating an environment for the physical, mental, social, emotional and academic development of children in the age group of 3 to 6 years and assisting the Anganwadi worker in achieving the above.
- Ensuring attainment of the learning level prescribed under the Nipun Bharat Mission by paying special attention to children in the age group of 5 to 6 years.
- Using activities related to colour, shape, sound, object, environment such as trees, plants, birds, animals etc. for the cognitive development of children.
- The Anganwadi worker should work with the children by making an action plan for other activities such as games, drama, picnic, field trips, music, handwork etc.
- Meeting with parents, mainly mothers, to constantly inform them about the progress of children. Along with this, to orient mothers to provide a learning environment to children at home.
- Prepare child profile related to indicators of children’s background development etc. and achieve the goals of children’s development through it.
- Working with Anganwadi worker to create a quality learning environment for children of age group 3 to 6 years and making learning activities the main basis.
- Participate from time to time in various meetings, training etc. organized by the Education Department.
- Will work under the control and guidance of the Headmaster of the school. It will be the responsibility of the Headmaster to engage the concerned worker in the work related to ECCE. Consequently, it will be mandatory for the concerned worker to do the work given above with the children enrolled in Anganwadi centers/Balvatika, which will be monitored by the Headmaster.
- The working hours of the concerned worker will be determined according to the school timetable.
